Privacy Policy
Last updated September 28, 2026
iMoney lets you hold and send digital dollars by text message. This policy explains what we collect to do that, who helps us, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your phone number, which identifies your account and wallet.
- The messages you send to iMoney and our replies, so we can carry out your requests and keep a record.
- Your Solana wallet address, balances, payments, contacts you save and the name you set with NAME.
- Technical and security logs (for example, when a payment was proposed, confirmed or failed).
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who helps us
- Sendblue delivers messages between you and iMoney.
- Privy hosts wallet keys in secure hardware enclaves and signs the payments you confirm.
- Supabase stores our database; Vercel runs our servers.
- Anthropic (Claude) reads free-form messages that our own parser does not understand, to suggest what you meant. It never confirms a payment.
- Helius or similar providers connect us to the Solana network.
The blockchain is public
Payments settle on the Solana blockchain. Wallet addresses, amounts and times are public and permanent, and we cannot delete them. Your phone number is never written to the blockchain.
How long we keep data
We keep account and payment records for as long as your account exists and afterwards for as long as the law requires (for example for anti-money-laundering purposes). Message logs are kept for up to 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account (except records we must keep by law, and anything already on the blockchain). Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK) you may have additional rights, such as the right to object, to restrict processing or to complain to a data protection authority.
