These terms govern your use of iMoney. By texting iMoney you agree to them. iMoney is beta software; please read these terms carefully.
What iMoney is
iMoney keeps a Solana wallet for your phone number, moves digital assets (USDC, SOL and $IMONEY) and buys or sells tokens for you when you confirm by replying YES. iMoney is not a bank, and balances are not deposits and are not insured.
Your account
Your phone number is your login. Anyone who controls your number or your Messages can use your account, so keep your phone locked and tell your carrier to protect your number. You must be at least 18 years old and allowed to use digital assets where you live.
Payments
- Nothing is sent until you reply YES to a proposal that shows the amount, fee and recipient.
- Proposals expire after 5 minutes. Blockchain payments are final and cannot be reversed.
- Sends to other people are limited to $5,000 per day unless you change it by texting LIMIT. A higher limit takes effect 12 hours after you ask; a lower limit takes effect immediately.
- We may decline, delay or pause payments to comply with law or to protect you or others.
Trading
- Trades are routed through third-party exchanges (Jupiter and the pools it uses). Prices move; every proposal shows the expected amount and a guaranteed minimum, and if the price has moved below that minimum when you reply YES, nothing is traded.
- You can trade any token with a market, including unverified tokens. Risk warnings are shown but they are not a guarantee: tokens can be worthless, frozen, or impossible to sell. You trade at your own risk.
- Trading proposals expire after 90 seconds. Trading has no daily limit.
Fees
Sending costs 0.5% of the amount (minimum $0.05); it is free when you hold at least 100,000 $IMONEY or send $IMONEY itself. Buying or selling tokens costs 1.5% of the trade (1% with 100,000+ $IMONEY, 0.75% with 1,000,000+ $IMONEY, 0.5% with 10,000,000+ $IMONEY); buying $IMONEY itself has no iMoney fee. Your rate is based on the $IMONEY in your iMoney wallet when you confirm. The amounts in a trade confirmation already account for the fee (what you pay, or what you receive); a send fee is charged on top of the amount you send. This page and our website list every fee. Network fees may also apply. We may change fees with notice.
$IMONEY
$IMONEY is a utility token that lowers your iMoney fees. It is not an investment, gives no rights to profits, dividends or governance, and its price can go to zero. Trading $IMONEY happens on third-party markets (Meteora) and is at your own risk.
Acceptable use
Don’t use iMoney for anything illegal, including fraud, sanctions evasion, money laundering or buying illegal goods, and don’t attempt to disrupt or abuse the service.
Liability
iMoney is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by blockchain network issues, third-party services, lost access to your phone number, or payments you confirmed.
